This idea, is perfect for it’s simplicity. It’s a game of PASS the REC ball. Our ever present red button icon becomes a ball that is passed from one hitRECorder to the next and in each segment something interesting is done with it. The New-Age-Thinker came up with the idea that it could appear above the first person’s head like a thought balloon and then a hand could come from the side and snatch it away. Eventually it would turn into the O in org and my thought was that another hand would snatch the ball again… to continue the cycle.
I love this idea and I also love that it came from a new member. Being relatively new here myself, I was excited to see someone come up with a RECord that attempts to convey the magic of this place. I think this idea does that and would also be fairly easy for people contribute to.

Conversation: a hitRECord.org event in London? by Sarah O
Okay, here’s an idea that has nothing to do with me and would benefit me in no way whatsoever. Just kidding, but being state-side I would most likely not be able to get to a hitRECord event in London, still I love the idea of this happening. In fact, I think the more events we do in the more places the better… and I can always enjoy them from the comfort and safety of my own home because naturally any hitRECords attending would post all the details! That goes for the upcoming NYC events too, since I can’t even make it that far…. unless there is some kind of plane ticket raffle going on… hey, there’s an idea!

The Boy in the Well by lumpyletz
A haunting little tune about a boy who just needs a place of his own. This short song is absolutely stunning and I think it would be amazing to see it interpreted as an animation, something along the lines of horrorshocked666’s Little Red Balloon, perhaps.
