This isnt finished but sometimes you have to step away from a project so that you can come back to it with a fresh perspective (and patience), or in the case of hitRec, let someone else finish it for you. =o) This is the "How", perhaps one day I will get around to the "Why"

I didn't have a name at first. In fact, I wasn't even a me. Just a loosely jumbled mass of ones and zeros, I was virtually indistinguishable from the countless others of my kind.

The world was not always divided into such clean, bold lines as good and evil. Long ago, before these terms even existed, a war was waged. Battle lines were drawn and to the victor go the spoils! O...

For some reason Miss Myah's clip keeps bugging out. I am too sleepy to figure it out tonight so Ill get on it tomorrow. (As well as resourcing.) Good night and happy new year guys.
I figured I would share this extended cut for something I am working on outside of HR. Im sure someone will find a use for this.
I forget sometimes that I live in New York City. Well, not that I live here but just how amazing this city is. When I am reminded it usually hits me in a moment of euphoria over my surroundings. This photo, and the few hundred that accompanied it, is the result of a day spent falling in love with this city all over again.

I think Don Quixote would be the perfect not so tiny story for this community. It is a silly, sad, whimsical tale with endless possibility for the hitrecord style of remixing art. The story takes p...

Independence Day in New York City 2011. Watching the fireworks through the long barrel of a lens was a wholy different experiance than watching them as a casual observer. Trying to find focus in between brilliant flashes of light and the dark abyss of starless night.
This shot reminds me of something you would see through a telescope. Perhaps this is that moment just after the Big Bang. If you look closely maybe you can see the God Particle that scienctists are so eager to find.
If you want to see more of the photos I took last night I put some up here : http://fredwatford.zenfolio.com/p601406684/slideshow

There has been a series of awesomeness regarding this record that I hope to do just a bit of justice to. MixedTapes wrote a very clever tiny story to which Jay-9 came along and drew a wonderful illustration that perfectly personafied it. Madisen then laid out of haunting and beautiful arrangement of the story. This chain of events is what I love about this damn place.
If someone would like to do a different reading Ive included the text below.
The first time I had this dream it was a nightmare
Dark and terrifying, full of unseen danger.
As time went by and the dream stayed with me, the darkness receded
and I began to look forward to returning to the Eden that had become my dreams
The dream is the same that it has always been.
It is the dreamer that has changed.
