6. Spooky Romance by aurora188: i think i've listened to this song everyday since it was posted. I'm thinking an accompanying Halloween vid is needed! Who's up to the challenge?

7. Extraordinariest Story of the Girl in the Bath by Catness, what a FABULOUS REmix, well done catness!

8. Fall Formal Animated Intro by 12.42: so perfect! So impressed by your talent!

9. Glass vs. Hammer by whiteninja: perfect intro for a halloween type vid, and of course would be greatly useful any other time of year!

OK, so those are my RE-REC's for the week but I just have to give two major thumbs up to the community:

The first is Nothing Big by Regular Joe reaching the Greatest Hits spot, just a great simple song and how cool is it to have over 1000 RECommends?!

The second goes to 2000 Tiny Stories!!! Holy Cow! Congrats wirrow and the HitRECord community!

i wrote this song a few weeks ago after we bought out first house... i figured with Halloween coming soon, i should finally record it. would love some male harmony's added in if anyone is up for it :)

here are the lyrics.

this is the house we're gonna die in
this is the one they'll walk right past
this is the place where all our memories will live
for years and years locked away to last

this will be the house with boarded windows
with nothing but our love left inside
those who venture in will have their hair stand on end

I couldn't figure out whether this would sound better with or without music, so I uploaded the one with music, but tell me what you guys think! I felt it lightened the mood, instead of making the words sound overly-somber

This is the very first (after many takes) RECording of the (not-to-be-taken-too-seriously) hitRECord rap that @jestsaying and I wrote. it's just the raw footage, nothing fancy, because we want to see what you guys can do with it! Re-rap it yourself (it's meant to be silly though, keep that in mind. think 'just 2 guyz' by lonely island.) or whatever, we'd love to see it.

Made from the many beautiful images, poems and music from the 9/11 collab.

A special thank you on this RECord to Jeremy Henry, aka Haus_of_Glitch for two things. (1) helping me get rid of some of the fuzz in Issaness's reading and (2) your thoughtful tribute on the memorial wall.
When Jeremy heard that my cousin-in-law had been on the first plane, he added her name to the memorial wall from hitRECord. The photo he took is the last image in this video.

*** NOTE: This new version is sans MissMurd3r_22's plagiarized material. (Thank you to BeautifulKitsch for quickly doing the reading to replace it.) A few people asked about the news footage, since we're all on edge about stolen material now (and rightfully so).
