1. “A little something I painted when I had some free time.” By KatsClause
I just loved this as soon as I saw it. The color and style is beautiful, and very Halloween-esque. I only hope that we can see more of her “Circus De La Muerte” Collection.

2. “Webcam_edit2.jpg by Pretty in Paisley”
My heart just broke when I saw this. It’s a great image, but certainly very sad.

3. “Scars” by ForestKnauff
He has a wonderful collection of music worth RECommending, but this is my favorite. I’m always very impressed and in awe of music-makers, but the lyrics of this song especially struck a chord (haha, get it?) with me.

4. “Sorrow bird: Face(s) in the Crowd” by Catness
This video is a beautifully done combining of some particularly gorgeous, wonderful RECords. Everything about it is just lovely.

5. “Ransom Note” by Day Glo
This little RECord has spawned some amazing contributions from throughout the community. I love the idea very much, and cannot wait to see where it goes from here!

6.“Cup of RegularJOE Poster (Fake Dictionary)” by fractuldust
C’mon. Just look at it.

7. “Waking Dream” by Gidget0728
This is a REMARKABLE video. I just love watching/listening to it. Kudos, gidg!

8. “The Angler, P.I” by fredwatford
I love what Fred did with this. Even though he thinks he butchered the dialect. I really enjoyed watching and listening.

9. “Hand of God” by mostly_harmless
A beautiful re-interpretation of a once beloved RECord.

10. “How it all Began…” Collaboration by MattConley
I think this is the most interesting question any RECorder can answer. I’ve certainly loved watching all of the videos.

Sleeping with a webcam on is not quite the same as sleeping near someone. This is from a past long-distance relationship of mine.

The finished version (well as finished as I think I could make it). I sped up the tempo to 125BPM (Thanks Todd), added some tam, and some glok. Hope you guys like it.

This is my video contribution to the "How It All Began..." collaboration.

Following a brief introduction to the collaboration I discuss how George Lucas' "Star Wars" was the first big artistic influence for me when I was a kid. I was born in 1981 so that was just around the onset of VHS tapes, which brought movies into the home pretty much for the first time.

While all the special effects and sci-fi elements of "Star Wars" captured my imagination growing up, it was actually some of the darker elements of the movie that made me curious about filmmaking; namely its ability to make us feel a certain way about its characters.

Two key scenes from "Star Wars" stayed with me throughout childhood and had me pretending to be sick over and over again so I could rent the movie again and again (up until we got two VCRs and were able to tape the movie - but that's another story.)

How did it all begin for you???

We have taken your creativity hostage.

To secure its safe return, we require a ransom of precisely $1,000,000.00 in unmarked $20 bills.

No cops.

ok so i took some advice,
i made a lil space in between phrases of narration.
i tried to reduce the blur by non grayscaling things that looked dark enough.
however, there's still some blur at the end because thats just how the video is and i find it too cool to take out. I also lowered the volume of the music.

i haven't done the song in it's entirety yet because theres not enough footage to match, and i know ill just redo it when your lovely fall formal videos come out.

the color to black/white at the end was supposed to emphasize the point of actress turning bland once off the stage.

shit, i've said too much. beauty should be in the mystery.

p.s. ty for being my resources & ty for the constructive criticism
