These are my highland manor harvest festival cupcakes. I am in great need of fondant and frosting tube tips, but I think they turned out pretty good. This was the first time I made cupcake batter from scratch :D
That the Vampire loved his skeleton girl
Was an undeniable truth
But whenever he tried to nuzzle her neck
He invariably broke a tooth
Illustration for sinnamin's tiny halloween story ' Vampire Love'
I love this story but through illustrating it I've discovered that it's difficult to make a skull have an expression of concern.
Around this time of year
Evil gnomes cast their spells upon trees
They make them drop their leaves
Their skeleton fingers point towards the sky
In celebration of Halloween
Illustration for AnneMarije's 'Tree skeletons' tiny halloween story.
Something I put together in the spirit of the season.
My thanks to saintmaker and jestferlaffs for the wonderful images that went into this collage. I might add to it sometime when I get the chance. <3
Aaagh I uploaded the unfinished version earlier. Delete! And please say hi to my friend the lonely child ghost...again :) PS: Question - Should it say "on that night" instead of "on that day"? What do you think? All suggestions RE: wording or RE: illustration are very welcome.
Somber shades and falling leaves
Crisp warm winds and rolled up sleeves
Clever costumes moving 'round
Bits of candy on the ground
A midnight howl,
on the prowl
A pumpkin design my mum does every Halloween, we always forget to take a picture of it before it's ruined but I finally remembered this year :) It's a witch. She's pretty good.
I took this photo a while back in my friend's backyard. They have so many interesting things back there so I use it a lot in my photography. I thought sense we are getting close to Halloween maybe this could be of use :)
The jpg, is of a graphite, mixed media skull I drew. Enjoy!
To play with Dia De Los Muertos(Day Of The Dead) and Halloween.
The camera was going out so time and date are incorrect.
Another one created out of cigarette ashes. I did use a pencil here and there just to be able to get a few more smaller details. Working with cigarette ashes is a lot of fun! It's done in the same way that you would do an inkwash... grab some water and brushes and start painting... building it up layer after layer.
Raggedy witch needs a tiny story.....
I've been making halloween decorations for my aunt's school. I had to make 40 of these!
Horribly short on time this week so just a quick sketch, but I couldn't let the day pass without wishing everyone a Happy Halloween!
Don't forget to share the magic (and by magic I mean chocolate...lots and lots of chocolate.....)!
Halloween's just around the corner. Who's dressing up for that occassion?
As far as I'm concerned, we don't celebrate Halloween officially but there are those who would celebrate it by throwing a costume party of some sort (mostly adults or teenagers). In terms of trick or treat-ing...haven't seen one till today.
Anyway, Happy Halloween everybody! :)
YES!!! After a hundred million attempts to upload this thing, it finally worked! Thanks to Matt Conley's suggestion to keep it to 2200 pixels. Here I was trying to give you this glorious (or goryous?) image in much larger, um, glory.
This is a jack-o-lantern, mid-rot, which for some reason I stopped in my tracks to photograph a few days after Halloween last year, and then, for some other reason, really wanted to upload here. I've already uploaded a few results from this image. Now here's the original resource!
Carved pumpkins with my daughter tonight and I thought we'd do one for hitrecord! I took this photo before shooting a little video (coming soon!) and I kind of fell in love with it. Happy Halloween, hope you all have fun at the show!
I grew up with three big brothers so I'm obviously the little witch in the corner.
Here are the four of us on what I think is my 5th Halloween.
I made these for Halloween -- I have a weird habit of making food creatures for holidays.
Brownies for the base, with chocolate-dipped pretzel sticks for legs and marshmallows for eyes. I had *no* idea how much of a mess melted chocolate can make.
On Halloween night, the Great Pumpkin rises from his pumpkin patch and flies through the air with his bag of toys to all the children.
THE LITTLE ZOMBIE
The little zombie gazed despondently into the street,
Staring at the people he would dearly like to meet.
Whenever he went out, people would run away in fright.
The only time they accepted him was Halloween night....
My dear friends,
thank you for the hearts on the first one but I want it deleted!! It got squished BAD in the scanner!!! I doodled another one this morning, I hope you like it too, it is much the same only more room for remixing and coloring and such. This has been fun,as you can see my computer was quite frustrating last night/this morning but all is well now!
As always from me-Much <3 Mary Elizabeth
Feel free to use this is any collabo or project or as a starting point to something.
This is the white pumpkin version. I did a white pumpkin because as we know, not all pumpkins in this world are orange! ^_^
