A hollow pumpkin for amysz's Tiny (Halloween) Story! Not the best quality, just wanted to get it out there while I had a minute. :-)
That the Vampire loved his skeleton girl
Was an undeniable truth
But whenever he tried to nuzzle her neck
He invariably broke a tooth
Illustration for sinnamin's tiny halloween story ' Vampire Love'
I love this story but through illustrating it I've discovered that it's difficult to make a skull have an expression of concern.

Somber shades and falling leaves
Crisp warm winds and rolled up sleeves Clever costumes moving 'round Bits of candy on the ground A midnight howl, on the prowl gleeful... |

Another one created out of cigarette ashes. I did use a pencil here and there just to be able to get a few more smaller details. Working with cigarette ashes is a lot of fun! It's done in the same way that you would do an inkwash... grab some water and brushes and start painting... building it up layer after layer.
Halloween's just around the corner. Who's dressing up for that occassion?
As far as I'm concerned, we don't celebrate Halloween officially but there are those who would celebrate it by throwing a costume party of some sort (mostly adults or teenagers). In terms of trick or treat-ing...haven't seen one till today.
Anyway, Happy Halloween everybody! :)
YES!!! After a hundred million attempts to upload this thing, it finally worked! Thanks to Matt Conley's suggestion to keep it to 2200 pixels. Here I was trying to give you this glorious (or goryous?) image in much larger, um, glory.
This is a jack-o-lantern, mid-rot, which for some reason I stopped in my tracks to photograph a few days after Halloween last year, and then, for some other reason, really wanted to upload here. I've already uploaded a few results from this image. Now here's the original resource!
THE LITTLE ZOMBIE
BY:sinnamin
The little zombie gazed despondently into the street,
Staring at the people he would dearly like to meet.
Whenever he went out, people would run away in fright.
The only time they accepted him was Halloween night....
My dear friends,
thank you for the hearts on the first one but I want it deleted!! It got squished BAD in the scanner!!! I doodled another one this morning, I hope you like it too, it is much the same only more room for remixing and coloring and such. This has been fun,as you can see my computer was quite frustrating last night/this morning but all is well now!
As always from me-Much <3 Mary Elizabeth
