I have a wonderful friend. His name is Alex and he writes awesome poems. Considering this I got the idea to draw the illustrations for his poetry, but since I'm pretty lazy person, I just forced myself to start doing it.
Alex wrote so many poems already, so I decided to start drawing an illustration of my favorite poem, called “a beach for reflection”.
Here's an unfinished version of this illustration, simply because it's not finished yet)
Thanks for your appreciation)
I haven't released a RECord in a long time so I might be a little rusty. Let me know what you think! Feel free to edit this as much as you want. It's an honor to be REmixed. I think this one could be really cool if you crop it off along one of the waves and make it a cool pattern of ground for some new world. Just an idea.
This is an extraordinarily rough version of a background for a larger work I'm going to put together while on vacation. (I'm really bad at this whole "vacation" concept.) Normally I'd be horrified to put up something this rough, quality-wise, but I'm leaving really early tomorrow morning for the scary land of no internets and don't have much time to do anything in the way of cleaning this up, so you get it in this state. Don't party too hard together while I'm gone.
I've been paying attention to the ways my stuff has been used by people since I joined. Lineart lends itself well to remixing, so I'm starting a series of drawings that's purposefully made to be remixed rather than done as finished pieces. Let me know if there are any requests for objects or patterns!
EDIT: Ffffff I hate my horrible scanner. Ignore the ugly discolouration in the upper left.
