A few of the many reasons I keep coming back to Hitrecord for, clips and quotes that make me lol ;) Love you guys <3
Bear with me, there's a few records to resource, but please let me know if I am missing any!
It finally encoded!! :D
I think "Little Children" was one of the first audio records I downloaded when I joined HitRECord and I always wanted to use it for something but never found anything fitting enough. This record started out a little darker but all of a sudden it turned into something more hopeful. Which is absolutely not a bad thing :D
Hope you like <3
Frohes Neues Jahr!! Bonne Année!! Happy New Year!!
So I had to work at a New Year's Eve ball last night and my friend Rita did a fire performace shortly before midnight, she uses fire fans, staff and poi. Hope someone can use this as a resource for the "On fire all the time" collab or simply enjoy it.
I took this with my new camera and I think the quality is delish ;)
When I watched Channing's footage I instantly thought of Matt's wonderful Cirque du Patterns record. Then I found a piece of music with this strikingly fitting title and had to have a go at it :) Hope you guys like it!
Also, I came across this great piece of writing again http://www.hitrecord.org/records/308535 I think it would go nicely with that footage, maybe someone can record a voiceover....
The day the tiny book wanted to spread its tiny stories around Dublin it didn't get very far, unfortunately.
I know the stop motion animation is very jumpy but I still hope you all enjoy this as much as we did shooting this, and may I say, we enjoyed it A LOT :D
Got this off my dad when I was home for Xmas. A few years back he converted all our Super8 films into digital videos.
So yes, I used to have a mohawk and yes, I used to look a little like a sea monkey. And my brother is just absolutely adorable!!
For via's collab. Maybe someone can use this as a resource, hopefully!
Cinematography: My Dad
Costumes and Hair: My Mum :D
BEWARE: CATS INSIDE!
FINALLY the result of Fraeulein Gwy's first ever offline collaboration.
We investigated the true meaning of Temple Bar, an area in Dublin, Ireland.
We do not mean to offend or ridicule anyone, we simply want to make you smile :D
Haven't uploaded any records in aaaages :( So trying to get back into the swing of things by uploading some footage I took a few months ago. I shot this during the Holidays from the Rheinturm in Düsseldorf, Germany; I think it used to be a television tower.
Some footage from inside the Guinness Storehouse, Dublin, Ireland
This record took me waaaaaaay longer than I thought it would!!
When I listened to Madrond101's beautiful picece for the first time I instantly fell in love with it and I still can't stop listening to it so I knew I had to do something with it. I found a record by L.A with amazing footage of Paris and remixed it with Joe's Escargots and daysandhours's Sans Toi.
I'd love for someone to write a story for this and someone to read it as a voiceover, preferably a dark male voice, but anything goes really ;)
The story in short: he gets up in the morning, just to go looking for his lost love, he sees her in every girl and goes on a frantic search through the whole city, drowns his pain in alcohol and eventually lets go. Nouveau Départ - A New Start :)
Enjoy! Looking forward to your texts and VOs xxx
A teaser for my upcoming "72 Hours in Berlin" documentary. lmfao
Marvelous acting by the ever so lovely Sarah aka creative_green13
ENJOY!
Last Thursday, I went on a 72 Hour adventure to Berlin to meet the lovely Sarah aka creative_green13. I tried to document the trip as much as possible to share it with you guys. Enjoy :D
When I first listened to TCS and Meta's song I immediately thought of Scarletoak's lovely Kaleidoscope footage and the amazing shorts by claranovich. So I thought I'd remix all of those records into a little music video for this gorgeous choon. I hope you like :)
Since I heard the song for the first time I had this kinda backwards story line of a couple falling out of love in my head. I originally wanted to shoot the video myself but I was lacking actors, well, mainly the male one ;P
Just a little video for A.M. Ferraro's beautiful song...
Featuring the Irish Film Institute (IFI) in Dublin, my favourite cinema in the city!
Sorry for my ramblings. I hope there's some interesting bits in there ;) Also: I have a cold!
I wanted to add so much more voiceovers but I couldn't import half of the files into iMovies - need to purchase decent software. Or converter for that matter. Just an idea, feel free to remix...
Now, off to pack my bag, see you all in London baby! <3
Bunny Carrots record remixed with VO recordings from the BFI show
Cannot wait to get my hands on the soundboard recording :D
I collect analog cameras!
My contribution to the RE:Collectors collab :)
LydiaSaskia's contribution to the Tragedy / Comedy collab was too good not to remix!!
Hope you like! :D
Again, probably too late for tonight's show, but I really wanted to add SFBakstad's gorgeous timelapse footage to the intro :D Have fun dudes <3
Just wanted to incorporate some of the great footage into the intro, but I'd say it's a little too late for tonight! ;)
I'm sorry it's rather long, but there are a couple of outtakes at the end :)
Raw footage of the passage tomb in Newgrange, Co. Meath, Ireland. Intended for remixing purposes. Put some lovely music by AM Ferraro over it to make it less boring! Contains footage of:
Irish countryside (Boyne Valley)
Newgrange passage tomb (exterior and entrance)
baby rabbits (cuteness alert!!!)
more Irish countryside
As soon as I heard AM Ferraro's beautiful piece of music I knew I had to do something with it.
Also, 300th record whoop whoop whoa!
Since Madrond uploaded a newer version of his beautiful "Nouveau Départ" I thought it was time to remix my older version of the short film.
The story line: he gets up in the morning just to go looking for his lost love, he sees her in every girl and goes on a frantic search through the whole city, drowns his pain in alcohol and eventually lets go. Nouveau Départ - A New Start :)
Always wanted to go back and make a short film for phenomenaaa's amazing short story "The Horrifically Mundane Life of Sarah Cohn"! Hope you like :)
As you can see, I have a mild obsession with Cameron Smith's cinematography skillz :D
There was copyright issues with the Bar Mitzvah footage I used in the first version - the footage I used in this record is definitely public domain, you can find it here: http://archive.org/details/gov.doj.ncj.212664.v1.6
