These are so addictive. This popped into my head on the way to work. Random whimsy with a bit of a message or two, maybe? i actually imagine this as a stop-motion animation, something like a cartoony version of time-lapse photography of the night sky. Anyway, hope this amuses someone or makes them think a little, or maybe even both. Reuse, remix as you will. :)

I absolutely fell in love with Soupy's drawing "Communications are Down" I just had to remix it, so I added Metaphorest's "Robotron" poem to it, since I feel the two go well together.

When I saw JacksonBlack's illustration of jstandifird's tiny story, it moved me and made me want to try coloring it. It occurred to me after that I had finished coloring that it might be visually appealing to merge the story with the drawing, so I tried to place the words above and below to fit with the colored pic.

I started a series of "proactive fairytales", meaning the main protagonist decided to change his or her Grimm fate and take matters into their own hands. In this one, LRRH decided not to wait for that darn woodsman, and her basket held more than Granny's lunch...

Been wanting to draw this for awhile, and finally got to it. And now to sleep 8D; i might regret this later in the morning.

The paradox of city life--being human-shaped islands while you drown in a sea of other people. i live in an island-city-country nicknamed "the little red dot" (at 700 sq. km, it'd be smaller than the dot used to demarcate it on a globe) and where about 80% of the almost 5 million residents live in highrises. People here generally keep to themselves; many don't even know their neighbours. It's always struck me as sad; like a library full of stories that've been forgotten before they've even been fully written. :/

Another before-work sketch. Had wanted to try the fish-eye lens look; was surprisingly fun. The figure's veeeery vaguely a modern day Hermes/Mercury--hence the shopping bags, crossroads, and the reference in the title.

Finally done! i love Midori's illustrations like woah. Why can't i colour stuff all day instead of work? So many pictures, so little time. ;_;

Bandwagon passenger #44, here’s my ticket. 8D My muse insisted i colour this. She’s persistent and i have no self-control; we make an awesome team. Awesomely sleep deprived, that is. The planets have freckles/sun kisses, because the sun thought their heavenly bodies were out of this world, and it smothered them with smooches. Also, it put a ring on it. 8DD *bricked*

loved wirrow's tiny story so I did a really quick sketch, i'll probably do something more in the morning but its passed my bedtime so i hope you like my ROUGH sketch (i'm no illustrator)
