when I found katasul's "we were sailing the seas", I knew I wanted to make a makebelieve world where the little boys could sail off into dreamland in their little tin boat. (all the resources just fell into place so easily for this remix. hitRECord is a treasure trove.)

It's a bit late, I know, but I began making 'Strawberry Bootlaces' into an animation last week. It was originally for Sundance but half way through making it, MarieIv uploaded her top notch version which was selected sharpishly for the show. I hmmed and hawwwd about whether to continue on with my version, but then I realised I'd been enjoying myself, so I decided to finish it up this weekend. I learned a lot & it was a good challenge for me to push my animation skills further. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. :)

i accidentally stumbled across this combination of RECords while making something else.

This bumper was made after Banksy made his presence known in Park City. I animated two photographs of his local work together. Then during our Remarks session on the 24th, Joe brought two people up from the audience to RECord voiceovers for the two characters. Finally, we wanted to show how close one of the Banksy pieces was to the REC Room, so Joe decided to RECord the journey.

i had a spare afternoon today, so i've been working on the hitRECord quilt! this picture doesn't quite show the heart in all its glory - it's a deep burgundy velvet, but the photo makes it look black... i'm also going to cut out the letters of HEART, with each letter in a different pattered red fabric & add them on top of the heart.
