some of my reel picks for mister conley's collab :)
i've added some voiceover & a touch more subtle eerie ambient noise to marielv's animation (you may not hear it all with your computer speakers, headphones suggested :) you can hear an alternate voiceover here.
sunday funday remix in motion...
sorry Day Glo i forgot to read of off the redux :/ i had some other takes but decided on uploading just the one for now.
also, the "ha" in this one is a bit contrived. might need another take :)
**full screen view through the site seems to compress/blur the look of the video. download for best viewing option** :))
i thought i'd walk through one of my favorite new additions to HITRECORD 5.0, the User Profiles! i hope you find it helpful :o)

just an idea i was inspired to play with. i might still work on it a bit, we'll see....
i am what i look like to you
but i don't know what you see through
you are what you look like to me
but i'm not sure through what i see
going by the show of shows
my eyes do not seem to be those
to trust to be whose just and knows
how anybody's story goes
so it seems its up to me
to decide through what i see
as it seems it's up to you
to decide what you see through
so if you like i will agree
to be the he through whom you see
as long as i can count on you
to be the who that i see through
you are what i love to see
and i look pretty good to you
and everything looks good to me
when we are what i'm seeing through

an experimentation series
Please listen LOUDish and preferably with headphones. first pass @ this. i haven't done much with it except lay the separate audio tracks down and move them around a bit. i messed with the audio levels and balance slightly, but not with too much thought. i left the background music that pam had included in on her audio & you can hear the piano creep in at several moments. i actually like the effect in most instances (especially when the harmonica makes a guest appearance), but i think i need a little more depth in the various sounds so that it blends a bit more? i'm also thinking the ending could use something. maybe i just add in a ton of whisper tracks and fade out gradually? let me know if anyone has ideas or suggestions. i should mention that i am not a "music mixer" or composer (to be honest, i think i just about crashed my freeware audacity will all these tracks) but i am experimenting avant garde style and i am inspired to teach myself new ways of creating. i like the idea that you can't always hear the words clearly, but that your brain is picking them up regardless. <3
