Ok my three four ULTIMATE audio records

1. 1. Riverside - on Spilt Milk LP - May McDonough - I really adore this song!

2. The Man in the Herringbone Hat - Radio Play - This is a really great mixure of everyone's recordings. It really keeps you enagaged with the background music.  And it also enhances the story.

3. December, December - Great christmas song by the lovely Metaphorest. I really like it, it's an amazing song.

4. A mini-Concert For Dan - Great remixing of all those songs relating to Dan. It just all seems to work so well together.

first track on album 'spilt milk', but copyright shmoppyrights. right? rights.

and someone asked for the lyrics:

drag your feet, keep your life strapped to your shoulders.

if you don't carve your age into your belt, you wont get any older

it's a mixed up masquerade, a penniless arcade

every face a frown, oh what a crazy town

hang your head, they'll steal the toes right off of your feet

you're lucky to count all ten, when you're living on the street

its a story thats been told, a body thats been sold

'round and around and around. oh what a crazy town

(see) joy around here comes in a little pink balloon

and if you got out of here yesterday it wouldn't be too soon

it's a cardboard palisade, a pocket change brigade

every way is down. oh what a crazy town

I've remixed Wirrow's Patterns and Prayers, and put it on front of a remixed Trilogy for Dan.

I know I'm late to the party and all, but I was really intrigued by Joe's old proposal to make The Man in the Herringbone Hat into a radio play, and did my best to make it a la GUN SMOKE. :D It's remarkably silly, but that's okay. I really liked experimenting with sound -- I've been strictly visual in the past, so it was interesting to work with something that had absolutely no visuals. A lot of inspiration came from MattConley's 'Live Reading', but I did all my own edits and such.

Philip Baker Hall narrating, with Channing Tatum as the Man, and Rian Johnson as the young narrator.

RJ's reading was a lot faster than the others, so I did a lot of editing with the timings, and slowed his voice down, also making it lower. It's not quite right, but I like it anyway. :D

My attempt at a Christmas Song for filmpunk's collab. I'll upload the wavs too if anybody wants em!

As we sidestep through November
We set sights fast on December
And that day we all remember
To the fire’s dying ember

December, December
You chill us to our bones
December, December
A time for going home

In the air my breath turns white
As day so quickly turns to night
This early turn suits me alright
Instead of the sun the stars burn bright

The Christmas chill nostalgia bringing
Familiar songs old favourites singing
In every quarter bells are ringing
To each other we are clinging

December, December
You chill us to our bones
December, December
A time for going home

All together for a day
We do things the old-fashioned way
We celebrate against the grey
Of leafless trees that icy sway

December, December
You chill us to our bones
December, December
A time for going home
