Beauty breathes life into her soul as the last leaf gently floats from the trees. She breathes in, out, and she is whole again. |

Lost. Could I be lost? No. Because no one's looking. Soul searching could find me. A new beginning.
A damaged heart... |

Happy Birthday! First of all, I love this idea. We could really get a lot of RECorders involved...like we're all in the same pub together having a pint. <3
Hats off to ManWithHat (wait, no pun intended) for his rendition of Words We're Wailing. It sounds exactly like what you're wanting, so I added my track to his version and added a few more "pub-like" sound effects in there too.
I think it might really be awesome if someone was good at sound effects and could add some more to it, like people laughing, beer bottles opening, bar stools scooting across the floor, maybe a door opening/closing...?
This was a lot of fun <3
(and I've never recorded a remark before with a RECording added to it, so I messed it up and the resources aren't there! So, this is the re-RECording of it with the resources)
My thoughts on the new and spectacular (Not So) Tiny Story collab...was thinking Greek mythology, but I would really LOVE to see The Wizard of Oz brought to life again by hitRECorders. <3
RegularJoe’s regularity video on irregularity (http://hitrecord.org/records/370030) has inspired me to start a collaboration. A collaboration I should have started long ago. This collaboration is a memoriam of sorts for all those beautiful souls that are no longer with us in body, but live gloriously in our hearts.
I want to tell their stories. A tiny story of their not-so-tiny lives. I’m looking for those souls from you. Anyone you want to honor that is no longer with us. A photo of them and a little something that made them who they were. For example, what they did for a living or a character trait that was special, anything at all. I’m thinking of a collage of sorts with their photos and images that tell who they were in a few seconds. Maybe some live videos of them in there as well. We’ll need photo editors…movie editors…musicians for a soundtrack...we’ll need you. Contribute photos, videos, images, info, music, ideas…anything and everything that we can use to honor these people and celebrate their lives.
Let’s share those who are dear to us with each other so that a little piece of their tiny stories can live on in all of us. <3
I love it when I don't make a whole lot of sense.
Point? I had a GREAT TIME and I love you all. <3
I wanted to make a signed version of "hit RECord" for the new Intro video. I don't have a program that can crop video, so if anyone can center it for me, that'd be great. =)
I'm a sign language interpreter and would love to make an interpreted or closed-caption copy of the new Intro video once it is completed for the website for all the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing RECorders out there. I would also be glad to do that for anyone's video/audio RECords. <3
and a big HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY, HITRECORD!!
~Stevie
This is just a little snippet of a song I've started to write. It's not much yet, but it's something.
I started writing it while thinking about how much we take for granted and how short life is...we should live it all we can while we've got it.
Enjoy,
Stevie <3
I wanted to add a little more depth and texture to my first attempt at this picture, so I hand-drew in some more lines and shadow with pencil and ink.
This a stencilized version of alisonrose's picture of Joe singing 'I Don't Want To Live on the Moon' from the hitRECord at the movies 4/23 8pm show. I just really like it. <3
~Stevie
(I don't know what happened to my first RECording of this...somehow it uploaded blank...no idea what I did, but here it is again)
Here's another take on Tiny Glory Story...with a little harmony thrown in. <3

There once was a girl who wrote tiny stories about pinwheels and monsters and snot.
She liked how they seemed so most often to ... |

They're right when they say 'Out of sight, out of mind.' When you're out of my sight, I'm out of my mind. |

A stop-motion papermation-like film I made for wirrow's 'a new hevn' for the creation myth collab. I wanted it to be somehwat child-like since creation and birth and re-birth kept making me think of the growth of children and their tiny stories.
I would still like to add music to this. I know megancarnes is working on something and I hope others do too (like maybe amferarro's piece when it's finished?). *nudge nudge*
This is my first stop-motion film (so please, be kind) and my biggest hitRECord project to date (weeks of planning and filming...all worth it)
It's such a beautiful story and so many people have made amazing things with it...I am just beyond baffled by this community's brilliance.
I had a lot of fun making this - I hope you guys like it. =)
~Stevie <3
I have done so much with wirrow’s tiny story 'a new hevn' that I have found that I have actually memorized it. Yeah, it’s that good. So, wirrow, this interpretation is for you. <3
I love this so much, so I added some harmony. I have lousy RECording software, so I apologize if it sounds a bit rough. I want to add some instruments too here in the next few days...and wouldn't it be AWESOME if @megan_carnes added some too (hint hint) <3
My Chaplinesque silent film style Fall Formal Intro video, with the intro script signed in American Sign Language(ASL). Thanks to the memory of Chaplin and The Golden Mustache, I had a blast making this. <3

After some (ok a TON) of technical difficulties, my REmix is finally complete. A big thanks to Dave for playing what I heard in my head and letting me use his synthesizer. <3
And a big big thanks to Amy for writing something I have had so much fun playing with. I had to tweak the words a bit for timing purposes, but the REmixed lyrics are below:
You may not have heard
But you’ll never forget
The terrifying tale of
A murderous duet
Now, it may cause a fright
But you really should know
All about the pair of
Josephine and Joe
Not long ago
And right ‘round these parts
People turned up dead
Devoid of their hearts
Dozens of bodies
The killings gruesome
Maimed and mangled by
A psychotic twosome
One night a drunk
Came stumbling home
He met with a lady
Afraid and alone
Her name Josephine
A blonde all in stripes
When he went for the kiss
He lost his life
One evening a beggar
Crossed paths with a gent
Clad in a white suit
So he asked for a cent
The man, Joe, seemed kind
And he said he’d give aid
But instead of money
He gave him a blade
Now, there was a pastor
Respected and renowned
Who knew it was his job
To calm the people of the town
So he hid himself
Concealed and unseen
To catch the killers
Joe and Josephine
Night after night
The pastor would wait
Though he kept faithful watch
The deaths did not abate
He said once he saw
Josephine wipe Joe’s face
Though he tried to grab them
They escaped the place
The people got angry
Why didn’t it end?!
They needed someone
Who could really apprehend
A cunning young lass
Named Lillian Anne
Thought long and hard
And came up with a plan
She stalked the pastor
All through the night
It was ‘round 3 o’clock
When she was met with a fright
He entered the graveyard
Lillian feeling doom
She lost sight of him
As he went behind a tomb
Suddenly a hand
Grabbed her ‘round the neck
She caught sight of a lady
In stripes white and black!
Lillian and the lady
They grappled and fought
But Lillian was stronger
Than anyone thought
She kicked her and punched her
And the striped lady fell
But when Lillian looked down
She let out a yell
The pastor’s face stared
Right up back at her
A blonde wig askew,
lipstick all a blur
She glanced at the ground
And there in the mud
A bright white suit
Smattered dark with blood
She shrieked for the cops
And they came without fail
And arrested the killer
To spend life in jail
Josephine and Joe
and the Pastor were done
The duo and the trio
Were nothing but one
Inspired by all of the women who have ever fought for their independence from domestic violence.
Special thanks to megancarnes for always writing something I want to create something else to. <3
