OK, technically I think this was where a make-shift door latch used to be, not the hinge. At any rate, I think this kinda looks like a cartoon-y guy with a backpack.

I also think it's interesting how much the bare wood looks like roast beef if you zoom in on it. Maybe someone here needs a roast beef texture for something. 'Cause that sort of thing comes up all the time.

I took this photo from my back deck in Chicago in June.

There was a HUGE storm in the late afternoon... lots of rain, thunder, lightening, wind everything. But as the storm subsided, the sky because this amazing glowing yellow-orange color as the sun set. In this picture, you can still see the black storm clouds leaving and the golden clouds rolling in. It reminded me that even after the worst of storms, something good can come.

I would love to see what people think of this, as I think the idea of it could lend itself to a poem or song.
