I would like to use this album of re-recommendations to express love (and encourage hearting and arting) of two cool projects. You'll find both the original idea RECords and some cool associated submissions from this awesome community:
The Shadow People by AttileeRECord and Soupy - This collab has really taken off, and I can't stop hearting all of the lovely contributions. I love the idea of Shadows having lives away from their humans and longing for home! I really love how many stories and super images are being submitted (yes, I do plan on posting something too ;0) and I look forward to seeing more filmy/animatey realizations like Gimik Jo's or Marie's.
Ellory and the Cave of Wishes by scarletoak - This is a project that began as an idea and gorgeous set of images from scarletoak. I've tried my hand fleshing out her story as a poem, and she's crafted an awesome plan to bring the images and text some more visual texture - an animated pop-up! I love childrens books, love the magic of wishes and the ability a story or poem has to reconnect us with our inner kids. I can't wait to see how the community brings this to life even more!

Initial concepts for the types of shadows Attilee mentions in her vid. I guess this is what we're sticking with? As @@ said in the her vid, it's all been mostly just ideas so far. The info written out in the sheet may not correspond with what's been written elsewhere... I've been sort of absent from HR (sorry @@ D: ) mostly due to school and life and wank wank and all that, so I don't think we ever got the opportunity to work out the details. Then again, we also don't want to go restricting your creativity too much. Open to ideas and all that! Also, ignore the inconsistent caps—each of these were made during seperate times for the most part.\

Slowly (but surely!) trying to paint some things that may go with RECorderBelle's poem. This is meant to be the forest through which the child runs.
Should I paint Ellory herself within it? I didn't know whether to have her running, placed closer to the cave, or in a standing position where we would see about her shoulders on up between the nearest trees.
Trial & error.

Hey all! So RECorderBelle has done a wonderful job of taking an original idea I had and building it into this marvelous story. Today I kind of storyboarded (I know that's not a real word..) of how I saw it in my head.
The general idea is to have the story animated out on an open book. Thought about having the text just at the bottom, but possibly someone could do a VO and could just do that?
Wanted to post the very beginnings for feedback if you have any! Love any and all creative input <33
**Also, advice on software to use in animated stuff like this?
I finally got some free time and I just wanted, needed so much to contribute video to the Attilee' collaboration. The Gloamy Part of Town - great illustration by MelonBerri. The video, I guess, is like an adaptation of Metaphorest's wonderful poem. And with mysterious V.O. by pamagotchi, and tonguecutsparrow's music.
:) I love that feeling, when REmixing smth, that it's like we're making it all together.
P.S. so easy now to search resources entering last numbers instead of titles.
