Robert Stephenson's 'Rocket' revolutionized transportation when it was introduced to the public in 1829. Powered by coal and water, it could chug along at a blistering sixteen miles per hour - wow. A favourite with the rich, entitled Victorian gentlepeople (they probably had trust funds) it was the Vespa scooter of its day, not to mention a beautiful example of engineering.
So, this is rough (like most of my sketches)...it was a costume concept (currently building said costume)..however, I create characters for the costumes I make..because I'm a nerd and like to get into character...perhaps that's why I'll be teaching character development at work this fall? Anyway, it's developed into a lot more...as in, I may have created a web comic/story based off of "Willy".
I kinda' like her.
