Photographed across from my parents house in my hometown in East Tennessee (November 2010). We were having a birthday party for my sister. What a fun present!

I was hoping somebody could make a story out of this odd little idea :)

I don't often get back to my hometown of Kingsport, TN mostly for special occasions. This day was a very special occasion as it was my younger sister, Jessica's 25th birthday. We had just blown out her birthday candles when her husband came running in to show us this surprise that had landed right across the street. I am glad I had camera in hand. I got a lot of amazing shots that day.

I wonder if this is what Jessica wished for when blowing out her birthday candles. :D

Ok this one is right.

Heard this lovely tune earlier today, and figured I would make some additions.

Inspired by Joe's intro to "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" from Saturday's hitRECord at the Movies show.

Tonight i got a private show just in front of my house. This is one of the pictures that i took, a little stopmotion will come, i love this shot, even if it's fuzzy, just because of the light.

A quick painting I did a while ago on an afternoon when I was feeling creative. I just found it again and thought it fit really well with the Independence collab! Watercolor and pastels.

just a concept I threw together. I love floating objects so I thought I would do this hot air baloon. the medium was charcoal.

This is something a bit sketchified from me trying out my graphics tablet. A very strange bird with a strange name...I have NO idea where he came from!

When people stopped daring to Dream, the balloons decided to go on Adventures of their own.

There is something that thrills me about letting a balloon go out of my hand & watching it float out of sight. I think what thrills me is the independence of that balloon, soaring at will, with no weight to this earth.

last year I had this obsession with air balloons and I started to draw and paint them carrying little houses.(I tought I was so original but then I saw the animated film Up :D)it's a detail of a painting.It would be great if someone has a story about a flying village.or just...you know,use it :)

I tend to avoid drawing people, which makes a lot of my stuff seem like it's from this empty world... I think there could be an interesting story for this illustration, if any writers are interested :)
