RE-Recs for 03/06/11 Ok I’m pretty new here so this is my first Re-Recs…hopefully I do this right! :)
There are such an abundance of awesome T-shirts out there that I think I will do a separate re-rec for things for the record store spring collection.
1. Smile Bomb (Metaphorist) I always love all of Sarah’s stuff and this song is no exception. It’s upbeat and will be stuck in your head in no-time which is great!
2. March Fourth Dinner (vegetarians, be warned!) (alpal) A cute video using American scrimpNsave 26 (joevox)…this video is well put together and it makes me hungry!
3. Angerlpod? (riistan) A beautiful piece of artwork, I love the glowing eyes, and the way its highlighted.
4. Color me coffee (Misheleder) I love love love the coloring in this picture, and it’s a nice reminder that it’s ok to color outside the lines :)
5. A Lion’s Hit Record (MelonBerri) Love this lion and I think it would make an awesome t-shirt!
6. Unadorned seed of truth (LilacAmy11) Visual representation of twin…there is something extremely captivating and personal to me about this video.
7. Tiny Flaw (Tiny Story) (thimbles) I think this is a really cute tiny story that points out how sometimes the tiniest things are pointed out as “flaws” even if they would usually go unnoticed.
8. Greatest Hits Poster (Anita) Love this! I really hope it gets made into a poster because I would love to have it up on my wall :)
9. A Jungle Conspiracy (todd68976) Cute little story that I could totally see as a collab with illustrations and animations
10. The Duel (of life Philosophies) (Calypso) A nice remix of a picture by wirrow…I love the reflections!

Visual representation of my interpretation of metphorest then wirrow's twin poem/song.
I actually had the idea to put this, along with other videos of people taking off make up (reversals of the getting ready vids?) or the REsources used in Phen's video http://www.hitrecord.org/records/346766, on the monitors MattConley RECorded (kinda like in this RECord by iamcharlie http://www.hitrecord.org/records/304918) but I don't have the equipment.... perhaps someone wants to REmix?
Thought I would try a tiny story.
Inspired by pprescott's RECord, I've made 5 versions of this poster, but I believe this is the final one (might post the others later). I tried to incorporate hitRECord's "greatest hits": Morgan, Nebulullaby, Shadows, Tiny Stories etc etc.
