Help me, Obi-wan RECorders! (ETA: I went ahead and made a collab:  http://www.hitrecord.org/records/430130)  I'm looking for illustrations (or any kind of RECords, really) that capture the idea of art as perpetual motion machine.  You see, I'm teaching a university-level intro lit course in the fall based on this theme, in an attempt to get students to see that they are active participants in art, not just passive consumers, and that as readers (or viewers or listeners...) we don't do autopsies on dead things but rather have conversations with living, breathing, growing entities. There's no better example to hold up for them than this place.  I'm even going to have them remix each other's work as an assignment.  So, I would love to be able to show them some RECords that illustrate this idea, including, say, video of people talking about what this place and the notion of the perpetual motion machine mean to them, and, for the visual learners, to have some graphics that pop.  (Who knows?  Maybe hitRECord will get some new RECorders out of this class!).  So, does anybody want to play?

(Of course, I'm now going away until mid-Aug (2011) with no internet access, and no way to heart you all like you deserve, so maybe this is a bad time to ask, but I wanted to throw the idea out there, in any case.)
