a song i put together for the 2nd version of the MetaForest, which i imagine as a video....but i am swamped with work right now and it looks like it will be ages before i get to it, so why not let you guys play with it? :-) it's basically a repeating theme with variations on each repeat, plus a small bridge. it could easily be edited down to less than its current 3 minutes, so if anyone wants that, let me know.

Wonder

I liked this song quite a bit so I added a couple of instruments, some hand claps, and a bit of vocal harmonies as well. Yay!

I wondered what this would sound like with percussion. Since I don't have a drummer lving with me - I decided to do the drums (keyboard, live, multitrack) myself. A REAL drummer would do this better, I know - I'd love to hear real drums on this - hint, hint!

By the way - I edited the beginning and end so that if you download this and play it on your desktop player, and loop it, it almost sounds like it's one continuous never ending song..

So this is something Pasiv and I have been working on - I sent him a vocal track that needed some magic, he provided said magic times a million and here is the result!

I added a track of electric piano:  A Wurlitzer 200A.  Also, I sang a couple of vocal parts to add to Chigwinkle's outstanding (as always) vocals.  I've had to resist the temptation to do more.  I've also uploaded stems for further remixing in another RECord.  This is my favorite music collaboration on hitRECord so far.

Halfway through reading Metaphorest's poem, I started to hum to it. And then... this. I hope I did the words justice. And I hope you guys play with it. Add better instrumental. Is that harmonies I hear coming? I hope :)

Why have I been on a song about dying in a life love's arms these last few days as I turn thirty?  I honestly don't know.  Wrote the words a couple nights ago.  Thinking of a sort of drunk sing-along.  Metaphorest and Lizziemackie just recorded a beautifully sweet version of it earlier today.  Here's what I whipped up on Garageband this wee pre-dawn.  Far from finished, we'll see how this one pours out... If you really wanna do something for my birthday, maybe sing along to this? :O?

A song about romance

Nice little instrumental I made this morning.

I saw joe's poem this afternoon and put this together. I'd love it if people would sing along to the chorus and make a big old drunk sing along. After we get a bunch of voices, I will mix them in (good or bad so anyone should do it!) Hope you enjoy!
