I loved the title that fabulouslyfreckled and  belcath1981 used for their RECollection Vol. 1 posters.

The idea that I had was to find the images from the cover. 

I stumbled across this French proverb and really love it.  The English translation I found is: "Nothing is impossible for a willing heart."  I believe this describes very well our fearless leader!

I would like to see how people color this image.  Thanks!

I found these series of books at the library called Scan This Book.  These three books consist of copyright-free images that can be used in any way.  I found a page devoted to projectors and cameras.

Since I incorporated 35mm slide frames for the T-shirt ad, I decided to use another medium for the Tiny Book of Tiny Stories ad. This can be used after Christmas because I chose images that didn't have a Christmas tree in the background.

I was thinking that someone could use this graphic in a video to illustrate the collaboration process.  Joe suggested this in his video request. 

Also, I am going to upload a layered PSD file so that hopefully it would be easier for someone to animate. 

I haven't purchased a T-shirt yet so I decided to do a remix of the photos that have been contributed into an ad. I work with a lot of 35mm slides at my job. It was fun creating the 35mm slide mounts in Photoshop.

I had been thinking about doing an overall concept for a new hevn for awhile.  I started working on this earlier this evening. I was about to set this aside for another day until I saw paperlilies' H/E verse 1 drawing.  Then I knew I could complete my idea.

I was thinking that there could be balloons counting down until the start of the show.  I don't have AfterEffects so I decided to create the elements. These are on transparent background.

These can float up notifying the audience of the magic to come. 

Here's my take on the REmix Theatre logo. I believe it has an eighties feel to it. This file has a transparent background.

I did some color experimenting with cacheth's lovely drawing.

I stumbled across this glorious illustration by via and wanted to try my hand at making a T-shirt design.

I found this cool illustration, made a few changes, and voilà it's a spacegirl! This is how I generally feel about creating on hitRECord.

I saw swaylooza's photo where she was shipping tiny stories to vendors and customers.  I thought that I would design a simple form .  The size of the page is 8 1/2 by 11 and there are two forms to a page.  I bet these would look great on bright-colored stock.  Let me know if these work for anyone!

This is a little sketch I did and then scanned. This little dude has only one eye and it's heart-shaped!

I've been wanting to do something with Jared's photo for a long time, but sidetracked with other projects.  I don't have Helvetica on my computer so I looked for a font very similar.

This photo's message really resonated with me.  I wanted to create something with this photo but I didn't know what.  Yesterday, a guest speaker made points in his talk.One of them was "Your journey is uniquely yours."  That was when I immediately thought of this photo. 

The last two lines of this song were the kicker for me. For me it talks about the unadulterated power of love.

Per Joe's request I'm uploading a version without the background but also in layers.

As usual, I visit my parents at Christmas.  After we had opened our presents, we stayed in the living room talking.  I started looking through this porcelain container in which my mom keeps some of our family photos.  I came across this photo of me on my birthday making a wish.  I have totally forgotten about this picture. The date you see at the bottom of this graphic is her handwriting which is on the back of photograph.  I was seven years old then.

When Matt drew the cartoon characters for the Awkward Interview, I decided to do some coloring to some of the characters and do my own version of the conversation. Here is my colored version of Matt's drawing of Joe isolated out.

I don't know if this is too much of a reveal.  But after viewing Joe's video about finding illustrations for tiny stories, I decided to go with my instincts and upload this anyway. I believe it's sort of a darker interpretation.

I adore the illustration a sea shanty from mirtle and I wanted to REmix it to tell sort of a different story. 

I was so captivated by this illustation, I had to write a tiny story to go with it.

This needs more elements but I wanted to upload this before the deadline. I'm afraid I won't have time tomorrow evening. 

Just for kicks, I wanted to see how it would look if I used turquoise.  I especially like this with the red.  I did a bit of coloring in and added a texture.  I hope you don't mind totallyjamie.  This is a most beautiful poster.

The missus wants to show off her new camera!

In honor of the Fall Formal, I just wanted to do a REmix of the various expressions of love. 

When i first saw Joe's Occupy Wall Street collaboration,, Robo_J's Weapon REmix instantly started playing in my head!  So I was pleased that Metaphorest and Robo_j added their RECords to the collab.

I reread Metaphorest's lyrics and the words in the image are from her song but I rearranged a few to make another statement.

I had been working on this idea and then when the Hit Record Amoeba Poster happened, Idecided that this would be an effective design for that collab.  As I was looking at this again, I was thinking this could be used to promote the Tiny Stories books.

I have always been fascinated with Susan0987's Fill the Sky illustration, but hadn't figured out how to REmix it.  The dialog is actually real.  It's what my dad and I say to each other sometimes at the end of our telephone conversations.  Also, I decided to put a wirrow-esque feel to it.  

Earlier this morning I got up to finish preparing a shipment to go out today.  Then I thought I would upload this before I got started with my activities. Initially, this design had many more elements, but later I decided that simpler is best.  I dig Matt's photograph The Reelnees because it kind of has this film noirish quality.

I have been wanting to do another REmix but this time using illustrations only from one artist.  When I first saw  mirtle's illustration Daydream, I knew I had the perfect centerpiece for a REmix.

I'm glad this REmix is finally finished in time for my 2-year hitRECord anniversary.

The Misfit's heart illustration looks like someone could make patchwork out of it.   I decided to do four versions,t but I don't think that coincide with the seasons.  I just decided to make four.  I wanted to upload this before I start a filmmaking class tomorrow night.
