Sorry I sucked at hitRECord this week. New music will be coming soon, I promise :)

Anyways, this week was a good one for text RECords. YAY!

Down - alpal

What a simple but wonderful poem. Gotta love awesome metaphors.

spilt milk and crumbled cookies - tonguecutsparrow

I am totally not ashamed to reREC one of Jeremy's songs every week. This one made me want to fly to Florida and give him a hug.

Hinder - Robo_J

This is such an emotional poem (lyrics? not really sure.) I definitely connected with it.

His Name Is Death Choir (In Round) - todd68976

Oh my god, I love this! This song was awesome to begin with, and then todd took it and made it even awesomer, yay!

Water Balloon - pamagotchi

Another great poem. I love the imagery this one paints in my head.

Colours Grew Out of the Ground - Sibylline

Oh my! I love this! It's so colo(u)rful! And amazing! And wheeeeeeeee!!

In The Rain (Video) - RedHeadMonster

So, RedHeadMonster made an ADORABLE video of herself playing in the rain to The Morning Hollows' awesome song and I LOVE IT :)

Peace of Mind - The_thief

I am in love with this photo!! I love the little details, like the paint on the model's face.

a cREativity/cREation myth - phenomenaaa

Phen is definitely one of my favorite writers on hitRECord, and her version of a creation myth is incredible!! It inspired me. I very much want to compose a theme for Tallulah :)

Perfect Day (reMXed) - MonoEx

So you know when somebody makes an excellent RECord, and you fall in love with it, and you look at it a few days later, and you get super anger because it has way less hearts than you feel it deserves? Yeah, that's this song.

I took this beautiful song, mixed it, and added strings and piano. I'm really happy with it :)

mixed via Ableton Live Lite 8.

As promised, a video to The Morning Hollows' In the Rain. It's not a great work of cinematic genius, but I did change out of my pajamas and actually put on a little bit of makeup in order to film this, which makes it, at the very least, a major personal achievement.

and spread into the sky
a watercolour world with rainbows
fifty stories high

great rocks rose to meet the stars
wishing a better view
the highest peaks were dusted white
each day, pristine and new"

loved tiafischer's song from the beginning and with what remilyp did, I though I'd give this a shot at being in round.

but before I could finish it,

I got distracted and confused

they laughed when i cried

over a skinned knee

i was always picked last

for any activities

now i don't go out so much…

i know where i belong now.

my mom, she tried her best

to come to my defense

but when her back was turned

the tide just washed back in

now i don't bother to talk…

it's too much work to keep from falling apart

i know where i belong now.
