The anti-heroine of Sparks (this short story we're turning into a short film) used to be a rock and roll singer. This Monday, we're shooting her concert scenes. But by the time night falls and the party starts, we'll be done shooting, for the most part. We'll just catch a couple gravy shots here and there to take advantage of the hundreds of you who're coming. You're coming, right?

It's at the Troubadour, lord thank you. Incredible. I grew up going to post-Nirvana punk rock shows there, getting my ears blown out and my head kicked in. Now the place is ours for a night. It'll be fun. We'll drink. We'll dance. I've convinced various talented friends of mine to take the stage for some intermittent bits of live entertainment. The DJ will only play good records.
