Dan and I have been talking for a while now about HitRECord being a tool and a hub for online collaborative recording. The Forum and the HitRECordERs using it (that's you) have taught us tons about what this site can and will ultimately be.

We hope to eventually create a place where anyone can upload their records, download anyone else's records and through recording, sampling, remixing, re-recording, etc... COLLABORATE.

In order for that to happen, of course, users must be able to UPLOAD records to HitRECord.Org. Up until now, to share our records on this Forum, we've all had to use YouTube, Flickr, other storage-providing sites, or our own personal websites. Now we've got something new, as demonstrated in this video we made today...

Dan has enhanced the Forum, so we can now attach files to our Forum posts, kinda like email attachments. Now we CAN upload our records onto HitRECord.Org.

This should be a big help with the collaboartive recording already going on in The Forum such as the Word Association Game, Me and My Juno, Documentary Collaboration?, etc. Hopefully it also might get our noodles scratching for projects with which we haven't come up yet.
